Laggy iPhone

If the iPhone suddenly feels slow or laggy, run through these quick checks before contacting support.
Inside ALI
- Open the status dropdown above the screen and read FPS and Ping
- Stream Quality adapts on its own, so there is nothing to set by hand
A low FPS together with a high ping usually points at your connection rather than at the iPhone.
If the phone is still laggy after these steps, just message support and we'll take care of it.
Use the recommended browser
For best performance, we recommend using Google Chrome when accessing ALI.
Check your internet speed
You should have at least 100 Mbps download speed for a smooth experience with ALI.
Also, we've noticed that users whose iPhones use the Instagram or Edits app will get slower if the app isn't closed. If you intend to use it, make sure that after finishing working on it you close it from App Switcher, which you can find in Assistive Touch.
